August 16, 2010 - Hvar, Croatia - This is the port and city of Hvar from atop the fortress overlooking the city. I went up there by myself as Helen was on the boat recovering from the broken arm from the day before - and, unfortunately this town also did not have any XRay facilities - so she had to wait another day. This town had quite a bit of smaller sailboat activity - I think primarily because of the number a small islands that can be reached very easily in crystal blue beautiful waters.
