The hospital - and orthopedic hospital built in 1902 by the Austrians - and probably the last time it was renovated! The nurse took Helen in fairly promptly. The doctor - short white hair in white scrubs and white clog like shoes that had an odd spring inside the heel of the shoe - looked at her quickly - we got the XRay - he came out said - "it's broken" and was ready to walk away until I asked to see the film, explaining i was a doctore as well as the ship's doctor who accompanied us - he pointed out the fracture at the distal radius - minimally displaced and no other fracture. Then without another word, he disappeared. The nurse then applied a plaster cast that went 2/3 around the circumerference of her arm - whether to save on plaster or to allow for swelling wasn't quite clear.

Wait, why did you break Helen's arm? That wasn't very nice....
