Venice Aug 18-21, 2010 - Although Venice is photogenic and perhaps a little magical at night, it is not a great city. The crowds are immense and rude. The streets are unclean and lined with repetitive tourist stores and shops. The meals are beyond expensive. The little canals however are very charming in their own unique way.
